If you want to become Police officer, you can join Indian Police Services. IPS is an all India Service. The recruitment exam for it is conducted by Union Public Service Commission and is called Civil Services examination.

The academic qualification required for this exam is bachelor's degree in any discipline. So, you can pursue bachelor's degree in your desired stream from a recognized university. The minimum age limit is 21 years.
