for cracking iit jee exam, not only hard work is required but strategy is also required for preparation. you must first study from ncert books to clear your concept. after that i will suggest you to study from tata mcgraw hills for maths d c pandey for physics arihant for chemistry you must also for once try to solve all the previous years question papers to get the knowledge of pattern and difficulty level of the exam. while solving the sample papers, never see the solution directly. first try to solve the questions by yourself two to three times. if then also you fail, then see the solution. you must remember these tips to get good result. good luck. |

Re: How can I start preparation for IIT JEE from home? Which books are helpful?pful?
It would be really tough for you to prepare at home.
Coaching Institutes help students at every point where they find difficulty. They create a environment of competition in their classes which will help you tackle questions easily. However, if you are preparing at home, I would recommend you some books which could be very helpful if you go through it thoroughly. PHYSICS FOR IIT JEE MECHANICS Physics by H.C. Verma Problems in physics by I.E. Irodov Resnick and Halliday ELECRICITY AND MAGNETISM Resnick and HallidayCircuits devices and systems by R.J. Smith Problems in physics by I.E. Irodov OPTICS Physics by H.C. Verma MODERN PHYSICS Physics by H.C. Verma Problems in Physics by I.E. Irodov HEAT AND WAVES Physics by H.C. Verma Resnick and Halliday CHEMISTRY FOR IIT JEE ORGANIC CHEMISTRY Morrison & Boyd Solutions to Morrison Boyd Reaction mechanism in Organic Chemistry by Parmar Chawla INORGANIC CHEMISTRY NCERT Inorganic Chemistry Concise Inorganic Chemistry by J.D. best of luck.please don't overburden her & make sure she conentrates on co-curriculars too.tell her to get serious from 9th.till then she should'nt even worry about her school grades as they are not important. make her interest grow , not marks. because once she starts liking PCM she'll automatically start studing well.but only from 9th. |
