I have 71% in 10th,59% in 12th and a CGPA of 7.02 inB.Tech career under BPUT
university , am i eligible for the tcs .

you have a pretty good records throughout but in your 10+2 you have 59%...TCS wants you to have throughout your study period a minimum of 60%...so i doubt your qualification...but still you just lack by 1% you can always approach the management for consideration before going to write the exam...

you cant really get campussing in TCS because they wants 60% all trough....
They will not allow 59% at any cost

TCS recruitment qualification is 60% throughout i.e. 60% in each individual i.e. in 10th, 12th/Equivalent and B.tech.

I have done my 12th in kendriya vidyalaya of CBSE syllabus.

hi i am bijayashree. i have 80% in 10th, 50% in 12th,7.0 cgpa. would i elegiable for tcs off campus.

Your 10th and B.Tech mrks is good but 12th marks is less the 60% so i think that you are not eligible for TCS exam because the eligibility criteria for TCS :
1. Need minimum 60% marks in B.tech, 10th and in 12th.
2. There are no more then 2 year gap in the academic career.
But your 12th marks is less then 60% so you are not eligible for TCS. Don't worry you are eligible for many other company who take recruitment for those candidate whose have less then 60% marks in 10th and 12th. I wish you will get a good job.

I have got 68% in 10th and 59% in 12th, from C.B.S.E board and 8.14 CGPA in B.Tech from I.T.E.R Bhubaneswar ,Orrisa. Can I get job in TCS off-campus?

sorry friend you are not eligible for TCS
because you do not have minimum percentage of 60% .every one must have 60% of marks in all academics.

your 12th percentage is very low so you cant give tcs exam.

i have 85% in X, 74% in Xii, 63% ( till 5 th sem. )..can i sit for incampus placement as tcs in cumin to my colg on 24/8/11

I am really sorry to say that TCS's minimum requirement to appear
in there campus interview 60% marks through out 10th,12th
as well as graduation degree.

You have a good marks in 10th and B.Tech,so that should not
problem ,but as you score 59% in 12th,they may not gibe you
chance to appear in aptitude test or any further proces.

However,if you have keen interest to get a job in TCS,then you
can join any small Software companies,after getting some
experience,after 2-4 years ,you can apply TCS,then you can
face only interview.

No, my friend you are not eligible for TCS campusing...

Eligibility for TCS:-

1.One must have 60% aggregate through out the career.
2.One should not have any pending backlogs during graduation.
3.One should not have any study gap more than 2 years.

These are eligibility criteria one has to fulfill to appear in campus drive of TCS.

As you have secured 59% marks in 12th then sorry to say you that you are not eligible for TCS.

Eligibility for TCS Placement

in order to appear for the placement exam of TCS you need to satisfy the following conditions..

1) You should have 60% in 10th , 12th and B.Tech
2) No Backlogs at the time of placement..
3) there should not be a gap of more than 2 years between your passing of 12th and joining of B.Tech

Since you have missed out by just 1% in your 12th boards hence,you can talk it out with our college administrations and they can in turn talk to the companies management to allow you and neglect that 1%..

TCS is the top most software company of the world . So the placement proceess is to tough.

The selection process for TCS 1)Aptitude round 2)technical round 3)Personal Interview.

The eligibility criteria for TCS :-

1)You must score 60% in through out in career.
2)Backlog are not allowed.
3)Maximum 2 years gape are allowed.

your marks is not match to the criteria so you are not eligible for TCS exam.

As you have 59% in 12th , so i don't think you are eligible for TCS .Because minimum qualification required for TCS is 60% in overall academic carrier . So I will suggest you to start your carrier from small software farms and get minimum 3 to 4 years expirience and then try for companies like -TCS,CTS,Wipro etc. Because after getting experienced no one will see your academic carrier .

You have decent marks in your 10th standard and graduation level.

But your marks in 12th standard in not good.
It should me above 60%.

For this cause you are not eligible for TCS.

TCS eligibility criteria :

>>You should carry minimum 60% marks in your academic career.
>>You must not have any active backlogs in the time of recruitment.
