When you join National Defense Academy, along with other necessary training, the academy also offers Bachelors Degree program under the regulation of Jawaharlal Nehru University. It is an Mandatory program at the NDA and therefore, you don't have to purse the course from anywhere else.
Candidates who comes out of the National Defense Academy are recruited as Officers in the Indian Army and for an officer, graduation, is the minimum qualification and therefore, the bachelors degree program is offered at the academy.
