Good evening,
I am a working person & resided in Punjab. I had completed my graduation through distance education from Punjabi University Patiala. I want to do LLB through distance education.
Please guide me which university in Punjab give distance education in LLB. what is the admission process & also about the last date of session in 2012-13.
Can i practice in Bar council, if i completed my degree through distance education

Dear sir
I would also like to know the universities who offer LLB by correspondence course. Is it valid to enrolled in the bar council?.If I take the LLB degree from any university in India thru distant education will it be accepted in Tmailnadu also where I am settled

I want to study LLB through Correspondence. I am a working lady residing in Delhi

You can't do LLB through distance education. Although some universities do offer law degrees through distance education but they are not recognized by the Bar Council of India.


This means that you can not practice with such degrees since Bar Council of India does not recognize them. It also means that you won't be able to register with BCI.


The only option is to pursue LLB through regular mode. There are various universities in Punjab as well around the country that offers 3 years LLB course. You can apply for it despite having distance education graduation degree.


But since you are working, I don't think it would be possible to do job and study law at the same time. You will have to decide between work and LLB degree. Unless you have good job, there is no sense of doing LLB course. It would not be wise to quite a decent job.



Eligibility

1. A graduation degree in any stream.

2. Minimum of 45 percent marks.

3. SC/ST need 40 percent marks in graduation.

4. The age limit for LLB is 30 years.

5. It is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Dear Sir,
My Name is Archana I Have completed Bcom with 81 % from Mumbai University in 2014 i m interested in LLB so what is procedure for doing LLB from Kalina (Mumbai) University.

Sorry but there are no recognized courses for distance education in LLB.
Even the colleges that offer these sort of courses can be shut any moment and their degrees can be scrapped even after you pass out from their college.
Thus there is no way for you to do LLB unless you quit your job and pursue a 3 year course.
Do keep in mind that you are only eligible for LLB if you are 30 years old or less.

I passed BA with 38% and I also do pgdca with good percentage can I do llb
