NTPC stands for National Thermal Power Corporation. Its one of the largest companies PSU in India.

In order to apply for a summer training in this company, you would have to get a letter issued from your college authorities stating that they recommend you to undergo a 15 day or a month's training in any company.

Next you will have to apply to the NTPC Headquarters for a summer training. If anybody known to you works in this company the work can get a lot easy for you.

Most probably they provide training only in the third year. I mean it would be more beneficial for you once you are in third year or post third year.
