How to enroll for energy manager exam?
I am an engineering graduate with 16 years experience in power-plant and electrical substation.another four years in under ground mines .i request you to please advise me how to enroll for the energy manager exam.

Dear Friend,
National Certification Examination For Energy Managers And Energy Auditors is linked under the Government of India and was implemented by the Energy Conservation Act. As you are interested to join as Energy Manager,then you should fulfill some criteria: 1:You should have a bachelor level engineering or technology degree along with a work experience of at least three years in the energy sector that covers aspects of maintenance, planning as well as operation. or 2:You should have M.tech or M.E. degree at the post graduate level along with a minimum two years of work experience preferably in the energy sector. or 3:The candidates that hold B.Tech along with M.Tech degree or equivalent along with a minimum work experience within the energy sector can also apply. or If you have Diploma in engineering ,you should have at least 6 years of experience. or 4:You can have the PG degree in physics, chemistry or electronics with 2 years of relevant experience. or 5:Candidates that hold a master level graduation degree in Physics or Chemistry or Electronics’ subjects can also apply along with a necessary work experience of 3 years. on conformation asked through phone informed from your office that the energy managers exam will be conducted in Feb 2011. due to new syllabus is bing introduceing. please inform that above mentioned dates are actual? |

Candidates that hold a master level graduation degree in Physics or Chemistry or Electronics’ subjects can also apply along with a necessary work experience of 3 years.
