Re: Who is the Prime Minister of India? What does GDP mean?
The Prime Minister of India is constitutionally defined as the appointee or leader of the ruling party or alliance in the Union government of India. He is the de facto head of state, the head of the council of ministers and the manager of portfolios that are not assigned to other cabinet ministers.
Currently, Dr Manmohan Singh from the UPA holds this position. GDP = Gross Domestic Product is a measure of the national income of a country by calculating the amount/quantity and number of new items produced in it. |
