Pharm.D course is a Professional Pharmacy doctoral programme of 6 yrs duration after 10+2 (science academic stream) which includes 5yrs of academic study + 1 year of internship or residency.

Pharm.D (PB) course is a Professional Pharmacy doctoral
Programme. B.Pharm graduates shall be admitted as lateral
entry candidate to the 4th year of Pharm.D programme & the duration
of course is 3 academic years ( 2yrs of study and 1 year of internship
or residency).

D-Pharmacy stands for Diploma in Pharmacy and
B-Pharmacy stands for Bachelor of Pharmacy

The duration of D-Pharmacy course is for 2 years and that of B-Pharmacy course is for 4 years.

Generally the candidates who have completed Diploma or D-Pharmacy will be given admission to 2nd year of B-Pharmacy course.

For this the candidate have to get through the respective Entrance Exam.

Depending upon the performance in the Entrance Exam, the candidate will be given admission for 2nd year of B-Pharmacy course through lateral entry scheme across several colleges all over India.

So, You don't need to study D-Pharmacy course as you have already done B-Pharmacy course.

It would be better if you join M-Pharmacy course (Master of Pharmacy) having completed Graduation in B-Pharmacy.

Even the duration of this course is also 2 years.

To get admission for M-Pharmacy course also, you need to give Entrance Exam called as GPAT.

You should secure good rank in the Entrance Exam in order to get admission for M-Pharmacy course in a top college.

Try to apply for the Entrance Exam and have good preparation for the same.

Make sure that you are going to join this course in a top college that is having good academic standards.

Make most out of the course by gaining good subject knowledge and practical knowledge.
