Re: How to get admission in PEC or NIT? I have scored 115 marks in JEE mains
If you will secure more than 65% in HSC belonging to SC category, then you are eligible for engineering admission to PEC or any NIT, otherwise admission will not be possible to PEC or NIT. PEC - Punjab Engineering College is deemed university and admission will be done by JAC (Joint Admission Committee). NIT admission is done by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).
PEC or NIT Admission Basic Eligibility - You must have passed (10+2) in science stream with PCM subjects with at least 75% or Top 20 percentile in class 12th examination board. For general category students, One should have at least 75% in HSC in science stream with PCM subjects. - Admission will be based on JEE Main entrance examination. JEE Main Exam Pattern - Number of Questions : 90 - Maximum Marks : 360 - Exam Duration : 3 Hours - Each correct answer carries +4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
