How do i get a drug inspector job in kolkata... I am a b.pharm graduate.

There are two ways to become a drug Inspector:-

1.Going through a exam conducted by UPSC Board:-It's not sure that this examination is conducted yearly.This examination take place when there's a vacancy in the Drug Inspector post.This year the examination was not held this year but it may be held in the next year.Better you visit the following site for details

The notifications will be released in the weekly journal "Employment News".

2.Going through your State's PSC exam:-West Bengal Public Service Commission will conduct the drug inspector when there's vacancy in that posts.For details go through the following site for more details

Presently there are no recruitment being take place in both UPSC and West Bengal PSC Board. I have attached the syllabus of APPSC Board but it will almost remain the same for West Bengal PSC.

The DI examination is generally a State Service under the Health & Family Welfare Department conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).

Qualification:
1: you should have a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy(B.Pharm) or Pharmaceutical Sciences of Medicine in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University or its equivalent

2:You should have minimum eighteen months’ experience in manufacture.

3:you age should be between 21yr-35yr for general candidates.
3yr relaxation for OBC and 5yr relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

4:You should be Indian citizen

5:You will be selected on the basis of Written examination and Viva-Voce
