RTO stands for Regional Transport Officer. RTO exam is conducted by Public Service Commission of the respective state.

The eligibility criteria for RTO exam and Syllabus:
  • You must have completed your Graduation in any field.
  • You must belong to the same state for which you are appearing for the test.like if you are appearing for Karnataka RTO exam then you must belong to Karnataka state.
  • You must have License for all types of vehicles.
  • You must have proper command over Local language,English and General Studies.
  • You must be a Citizen of India.

The RTO examination is done for three post ::

1.Judicial service post
2.clerkship post
3.sub assistant engineer

The eligibility criteria for all the post is different .

Eligibility criteria :

For Judicial Service post :
  • You should be Indian citizen
  • You should be between 23 year to 34 years.
  • You should have degree in law from recognized university
  • You should be able to read, write and speak particular state’s language.

For Clerkship Post:
  • You should be a citizen of India.
  • You should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board .
  • You should be between 18 years to 37 year old.

For Sub Assistant Engineer:

You should be an Indian citizen.
The interested students should have got a 4 year degree in engineering in any one of the following streams ::

Civil
Mechanical
Electrical.

can electronics and communication apply for that?
Driving license for all types of vehicle means what ?including two and four wheelers?
