Sir,can you please tell me if gitam's hyderabad campus is good or not?Please sir,give me your re-ply as soon as possible.Because i have counselling on 23rd of this month.And i need to decide fast as there is no time for me.Actually my friend is telling that the campus has just started last year and it's not good.And that there are no good placements in gitam's hyderabad.So,please help me sir!

Yes, it is true that GITAM's hyderabad campus is a newly established one campus.
It admitted its first batch of students in the year 2009, and the second batch in 2010.

It offers B.Tech in different trends and also MBA,MCA and dual integrated degree programs.

The campus has well managed library and hostels.

As this institution has just started now, it will take some time and gradually shine in future.

Well,telling about placement factor, at this stage,you can gather more clear informations from the students who have been admitted in the institute.

If the college has started last year then how can one gauge about the placements of the college. Ofcourse you will be able to know about the college placements after 3 more years...

Anyways i think its a great college and you should go for it. Its deemed university and has AICTE approval

So without any thought grab the college and GITAM has just extended the campus so i guess the placements will remain the same as the main GITAM campus

it is very good college with very good campus.
but placement details are not there because no batch is passed out yet.
but i think there will be good placements.
just go forward.

The Institute has 20 regular staff members consisting of 3 professors, 1 associate professor, 15 assistant professors and 1 Lecturer.
The faculty have industrial, Research and teaching experience at national and international level. Out of 20 teaching faculty, 08 are PhD’s in Mechanical Engineering, Management, Physics, Chemistry and English, remaining are M.TECH/MCA. [3]


The library is a room in the basement of the main building. It has a "large" collection of books, periodicals and monographs in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Science, Management. The library is accessible to the students throughout the day.


The campus, recently, opened its independent ISTE/IOE chapter, by electing the required members, to the official posts.

The campus, has four hostels, two of which are under construction. Two hostels are provided for boys and girls each and are located around 1.5 km away from the main building, these hostels houses a indoor games room along with two tvs in the first two floors of the hostel.




The Hyderabad campus is spread over an area of around 10 acres, with area being left to accommodate the parking areas, workshops, etc. Within 2 years, it will be expanded to 45 acres in phase 1 and 150 acres by phase 2 It is located 15 km from the town Patancheru and is accessible by various means of transport, including public transport.




The university also provides bus facility from various parts of the city. Currently, the university runs five buses. According to the recent information on campus the fleet will be increased to total of 12 buses and will be continuing to do so till the optimum levels have been met. RTC buses have been hired and the prices are fixed around 20,000 p.a.

but we can do secure only through knowing the recognition of the institute //college
and as per my knowledge gitam hyderabad is a good colege with a good area and recognised

since this college is newly born college so it is not possible to say about the placements and the session of this college.but college infrastructure is good and it is well maintain college.but keep in mind that it is established on 2009.

The brand GITAM is good.But the branch GITAM-hyderabad is not as good as GITAM-vizag.

But the quality is good and if you join any course, you will the same as in GITAM-vizag in four years.

Recently, infoysis conducted program in gitam hyd campus and the representative of infoysis company told at 2013 the package for student vil be of rs12 lakhs-rs15lakhs(whose has gud cgpa)

As to get admission in renounces colleges you need to secure excellent score in the entrance exam. In India there are many engineering entrance exam. AIEEE, JEE and SLEEE are the main exam which is well recognized and considered very important amongst the rest. You can appear in all engineering exam. There are online and offline application available for all the exams. Most of these engineering exams have 2 papers. Students need to be well prepared for these exams. Due to large number of students applying the cut off is kept very high in most of the reputed colleges.
