Dear sriend
To Join Flying Branch of Indian Air force, you need to complete your Graduate degree course with minimum 60% marks from a recognised University. If you have completed your B.tech degree course with minimum 60% marks then you are eligible for Flying Branch. Those who have completed his graduation in any Discipline and have study Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects in Intermediate examination are also eligible to apply for Air force Common admission test(AFCAT) Examination. The examination is conducted every year. You can Join Flying Branch through CDS Examination also, CDS Stands for Combined Defence Services examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC, twice in a year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your graduation with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects. Your age should between 19 to 23 years to apply for Flying Branch of Indian Air force. Those who have apply for Flying Branch of Indian Air force may also appeared for the Pilot Battery aptitude test(PBAT). But, firstly you have to cracked the written test and the examination is objective and there are 4 sections in Air force common admission test and you have to passed Individually in all the sections, only then you are eligible for SSB interview. The examination is very competitive and lots of candidates appeared for the examination and you need good preparation to cracked this examination. So, wait for the Notification and then apply for the examination, Notification Published in the employment Newspaper or in the official websites. |

IAF stands for Indian Air force............. I can give the total information about IAF............ Eligibility criteria for Flying Branch: • Age -19 to 23 years • Marital Status - Single • Nationality - Indian • Gender - This is applicable to both men and women. • Educational Qualifications - One should have completed his/hers B.E. (four years) to join the Flying branch. .............. The following are the three modes of entry for Engineers to join the Flying Branch: Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE)........ National Cadet Corps......... Women (Short Service Commission) If you are a woman, you are eligible for a Short Service Commission to the Flying Branch. Height for Men- 157.5 cm and For Women - 152 cm. All the best.............. |

You can definitely join Air force as an officer as you are engineering graduate.
You can apply for exam like CDS and AFCAT if you want to join Air force as an officer. For CDS if you want to join Air force then your age should be between 19 to 23 years. For AFCAT your age should be 19 to 25 years . For Air force Technical and Flying branch graduation in Engineering is needed . For Ground Duty branch Graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply. The selection is based on the objective type paper and SSB interview. Medical fitness test is taken and if you are found unfit my medical board then you will be rejected.
