Yeah sure, you can join in indian army or air force by applying for the General Duty entrance exam. The notification is announced twice a year.Exam will be conducted based on Maths, General studies,Current affairs, once you clear the exam you have been trained for 6 months with salary pay 6500/- per month.After completion of training you can get salary arround 20-25 thousands per month.

There is also another chance, after completion of your diploma you need to complete your B.E/B.Tech to join in Indian Army as an officer.

I am sorry to say that you can not eligible for the Indian Army after completing diploma civil Engineering.

To join the Indian Army first you can apply for the NDA exam. And you need to complete the 12th standard.

NDA stands for National Defense Service.

This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year.

NDA - I

NDA - II

NDA has three wings:

Indian Army

Indian Navy

Indian Air force.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination : -

Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) from any recognized institution

Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years, There is no age relaxation for this examination

Candidates should be a citizen of India

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination

if you satisfy above all eligibility then you are eligible for NDA examination

Here is the complete selection procedure for this.

NDA exam will be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

Only candidates who have completed 12th class are eligible to apply for this exam.

Their age limit should be between 16 1/2 year to 19 years.

In addition, their nationality should be India.

As per my knowledge,
Diploma candidates are not eligible to apply for this Exam.

In such a case, you can not apply for this exam to join in defence services.

But you don't have to worry on that.

Try to make entry into 2nd year of Engineering course as you have completed Diploma and complete it successfully.

Then you will be eligible to apply for CDS (Combined Defence Services) Exam through which you can join IMA (Indian Military Academy).

In this way, you can make your entry into Indian Army.

Yes, you are eligible to join Indian Army after completing diploma in civil engineering. You can join MES ( Military Engineering Service) after completing diploma in civil engineering.

SSC ( Staff Selection Commission) notification released on 1st October 2016 on employment news paper. The notification is released as a SSc recruitment for J.E in CPWD and other government exams. You can fill the application form. There are many different ways to join the Defense services after completing your diploma in civil engineering. There are following posts to join the Defense after the diploma in the civil engineering.

^ SSC recruitment in Military engineering services.
^ In Border Road Organization.
^ In central Public Work Department.
^ In SSC JE post.

You can choose one of them the notification released on the 1st of October and the last date will be after 30 days of the notification released

Study hard for the SSC JE exam. and prepare your self well, if you want to join the defense.
