Hello, I want to ask, I am a girl I want to join Indian Navy after completing Marine Engineering. Can I join Indian Navy after Marine Engineering? If yes, then how and in which department at which post?

Modes of entry into Indian Navy:

1. Graduate special entry scheme Indian Naval Academy.
Age must be in between 19 to 22 years.

2. NCC special entry Indian Naval Academy.
Age must be in between 19 to 24 years of age.

3. PG logistics cadre.
Age must be in between 19.5 to 25 years of age.

4. SSC Hydrography.
Age must be in between 19.5 to 25 years.

5. SSC ATC.
Age must be in between 19.5 to 25 years.

To join Indian Navy after completion of Marine Engineering:

SSC Hydrography
-Short Service entry mode, only male candidates are eligible to make use of it.
Age- 19.5 - 25 years.

PC Logistics Cadre
-Only male candidates are eligible.
Age- 19.5-25 years.

NCC special entry Indian Naval Academy
-only male candidates are eligible.
Age -19-24 years.

Procedure to join Indian Navy after completion of Marine Engineering:-

According to the Indian Navy website, if you posses at least 60% marks in BE / B tech degree from recognised University in one of the following streams:-
Marine
Mechanical
Aeronautical
Production
Metallurgy
Control, any other allied discipline then you can join Indian Navy.

Do we have to give any medical check up after cds exam to be a naval architect
