After passing 12th you should complete some degree with good marks. while doing your degree like BE electrical and electronics or electrical and communication or computer science you can write the GATE exams. an eligible GATE score is a must to get a central government job. so study for GATE,then you can opt for jobs in ISRO and other central government job.(note:GATE score is a must to get a central govenment job) so concentrate your work mainly in doing a degree and parallel study for GATE. Best of Luck.. |

You cannot join directly ISRO after 12th .You have to complete your Graduation B.Tech in ECE or CSE or EEE Dont worry about your computer knowledge .First you complete your graduation in Electronic & Communication Engineering Field which is more useful for ISRO job After that Based on the notification from ISRO you have apply for that post. Recently for ECE,CSE Engineers Scientific Officer Posts Notification released in ISRO. So all the Best for your bright future |

Re: How to join ISRO after passing 12th?
hi,
There is no way you can joing ISRO after giving your class 12 board exam. ISRO stands for Indian Space Research Organization. A B.Tech student with 65% marks can apply to work in this organization. Your minimum age should be minimum 35 years to apply for the ISRO entrance exam. The proper syllabus of this examination is never given. But to gain some knowledge about the question pattern you can go through the papers attached. For more information log onto this website:- www.isro.gov.in All the best................... |

There are many modes through which you can join ISRO as Scientist or Engineer. After 12th or during 12th you can appear for IIST exam ( Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Trivandrum ).
Eligibility:---- BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters for which results are available) or CGPA 6.84 on a ten scale. Minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification. |
