Re: How many attempts are allowed for JTO exam?
there are no attempt limitation in JTO examination. you may appear in JTO examination for so many time if you are able to fulfill other eligibility criterion.
your age must be less than 30 at the time when you are applying for JTO examination if you belongs to general category. for reserved candidate there are 5 years relaxation. this is the limitation which will not give you chance to appear in the JTO examination for unlimited times. visit the website www.bsnl.co.in for more information about JTO examination. here i am giving the notification for JTO 2009. check here the total eligibility criterion, syllabus and also other details. |

Re: How many attempts are allowed for JTO exam?
Hi,
All i can say that there are unlimited times or no limit for number of times you appear for BSNL JTO the only thing you should be concerned about is the age limit which would be according to BSNL will be - The external applicant for JTOs (Telecom), JTOs (Civil) and JTOs (Electrical) should not be more than 30 years of age on the closing date for receipt of BSNL JTO applications. However, the upper age limit is relaxable as per standing instructions of Government of India on this subject for : i) For PWD candidates upto 10 years for OC candidate; 15 years for SC / ST and 13 years for OBC. ii) Ex-Service Men will get the benefit of age relaxation as per central government rules. iii) For Residents of J&K – Relaxation shall be in accordance with DoP&T’s Notification No.15012/7/1991-Estt.(D) dtd. 7.12.2007 pertaining to “Residents of State of Jammu and Kashmir (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit for Recruitment to Central Civil Services & Posts) Rules 1997”. So go ahead and do your preparations very well. |
