How many attempts are allowed for writing Kerala Public Service Commission examination?

I belong to OBC caste category and my date of birth is 31st May, 1981. Up to which year or month l can apply and write the Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) examination? What is the maximum number of attempts allowed in a lifetime for KPSC?

Default Re: How many attempts are allowed for writing Kerala Public Service Commission examination?

The maximum number of attempts allowed in KPSC (Kerala Public Service Commission) Karnataka Administrative Service Examination is 5 in case of General category candidates, 7 in case of OBC category, and there is no limit on attempts in case other category candidates.

Further, the age limit for OBC category candidates for appearing in the same examination is 21 years to 38 years.

So, being born on 31st May 1981 and belonging to OBC category, you are not allowed for appearing in the KPSC examination now even if your attempts are left because your age exceeds 38 years which is the maximum permissible age for OBC category candidates.

For complete details and updates regarding KPSC examination, you can refer to the link www.kpsc.kar.nic.in.
