What is the age limit for graduate candidate to appear in AFMC examination 2012 ?
Is there age limit relaxation for ST candidates ?

my age is 7th oct.1995 i can appear h.p. Medical antrence exm 2012

AFMC stands for Armed Forces Medical Corps.

Eligibility Criteria required to apply for the exam are as under :-

-The candidate must be an Indian.

-The candidate must have passed the 12th class or equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in physics,chemistry and biology from a recognized board.

-The candidate must be medically fit as per required standards for the Armed Forces.

-Only unmarried candidates are eligible to apply for the post.

-The candidate age must not exceed 45 years. Relaxation in upper age is as per government norms and conditions.

-The candidate must have passed MBBS in first/second attempt.

-The candidate must have completed his/her internship.

>> The Age limit of the AFMC exam in the two options :-

For the Intermediate candidates :
Age limit 17- 22 years

For the B.Sc candidates :
Age limit Maximum age limit is 24 years


The candidates who want to apply for the AFMC exam such candidates have to full fill the Eligibility requirement of the Ministry of the defence Education :-

* If the candidates are applying for the exam then such candidates have to clear Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Biology minimum 60% aggregate and with minimum 50% in the English and it applies for the same the candidates who are applying by the equivalent examination

* If the candidates applying after the B.Sc such candidates have to complete Graduation with Biology ( Zoology and Botany) and you have to clear qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology

=>The candidates should be Indian citizen or Nepal.

=>The candidates should be Unmarried.

NOTE : Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for the exam.

>> Exam Pattern :-

Biology ( Zoology and Botany ) – 5o questions

Chemistry – 50 questions

Physics – 50 questions

Intelligence and Logic and Reasoning – 25 questions

English language and comprehension – 25 questions

NOTE : Wrong Answers result for the negative Marks

>> Cut Off Marks :-

The minimum qualifying marks is same for the both Intermediate and B.Sc candidates.
