i want to know how many attempt is provided to break the IAS exam.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services. To become an IAS officer, candidate is require to appear in entrance exam called Civil Service Examination that is conducted by the UPSC. The role of IAS officer in India is very critical. He/She holds some very important postitions in the central or the state governments in India. The responsibility of IAS officer is to implement policy of state or central government with high supervision. IAS officer also handles several daily affairs of the government and consistently travel to places where policies are being implemented to ensure the process goes smoothly. Every year lakhs of candidates appear for the Civil Services Examination to become IAS officer in India. This is the reason why along with IIT-JEE, Civil Service Examination is considered as one of the hardest exams to crack. It requires months of preparation and in cases professional coaching is also recommended to students. Eligibility: 1. IAS exam is only for Indian Citizens. 2. Nice to hear that you want to become an IAS officer but in order to become an IAS Officer , you have to successfully qualify the civil services examination which is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission. The Eligibility Criteria You Require For This Exam are : * You Must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university. * Your age should lie in between 21-30 years. * There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years if you belong to OBC Category and of 5 years if you belong to SC/ST Category. * You are allowed 4 attempts for this examination as being a General Category Student. * For OBC Students , number of maximum attempts is 7 and for SC/ST students , the number of attempts is unlimited. The IAS examination is one of the most toughest examination in India. Every year numerous of students take the exams but very few are able to clear it. IAS - INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE, to become an IAS officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. Age limit:- A general category candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August 2012 (upper age limit relaxable for SCs, STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in UPSC Notification). The attempts for OBC category is 7. For SC/ST candidates no limit of attempts. The candidate should citizen of india. Candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized university. Final year pursuing candidates are eligible for this exam. Age limit should between 21 to 30 years. Relaxation applicable for other categories. 3 years relaxation for OBC Categories. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST categories. ALL THE BEST. |

Number Of Attempts For IAS Examination : Max of Four attempts is permitted to every Candidates Seven Time to the other Backward Classes There is no restriction on the number of attempts in the SC/ST Candidates Physically handicapped person will get as many attempts as any other non-handicapped candidates of community |

Indian Administrative Service(IAS) is a civil service exam, conducted by UPSC once in a year. Eligibility:- You must be graduate in any stream from any recognized University. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for this exam. Your age should be between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. you must be a Indian citizen. Civil services consists of two papers Preliminary and Mains. Scheme of the examination: Paper-I & II: Two Language papers (One in Indian Language and one in General English, each carries 300 Marks) Paper-III: Essay (200 Marks) Papers IV & V: General Studies (2 papers ,each carries 300 Marks) Papers VI, VII, VIII & IX: Two optional subjects (each having 2 papers and 300 marks for each paper) Number of Attempts :- For General Category -4 times For OBC category-7 times For SC/ST Category-No limit Good Luck.. |
