i want to know how many attempt is provided to break the IAS exam.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services. To become an IAS officer, candidate is require to appear in entrance exam called Civil Service Examination that is conducted by the UPSC.

Number of Attempts permitted for UPSC exams:
General- four
OBC- seven attempts
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe- unlimited.

Eligibility
i. Nationality:
the candidate must be a citizen of India.
ii. Age:
Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years.The upper age limit will be relaxable by 5 years for Scheduled Caste /
Scheduled Tribe candidates, & by 3 years for candidates of OBC.
iii. Qualification:
