How many seats are reserved for hearing impaired candidates in IITs?
Are there any reservation for physically handicapped candidates in any of the IITs of India? I'm hearing impaired. Will I fall into any reservation category of IITs?

Indian Nationals belonging to OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/SC/ST candidates are eligible to get reservation benefits for admission to IITs. 5% horizontal reservation for PwD candidates available in each of four categories. Candidates who have disability 40% or more are fall into PwD category. If you have disability certificate issued by medical authority, then you can apply under PwD category for IIT admission. IITs offer B.E/B.Tech admission based on entrance exam JEE Advanced. For getting reservation benefits, candidates need to provide valid proof of their category. Once a category submitted on IIT record, It can't be changed in any circumstances.
Reservation Percentage - OBC (Non Creamy Layer) : 27% - SC : 15% - ST : 7.5% - Rest 50.5% seats are for open for others. Within each of four categories, 5% horizontal reservation is available for PwD categories. - 14% supernumerary seats are reserved for female candidates. - 2 seats are reserved for all IITs for candidates belonging to defence services. Category Wise Seat Distribution After declaration of JEE Advanced results, Top 2,50,000 candidates are eligible for admission to IITs. - Open : 1,07,464 - Open PwD : 5656 - OBC NCL : 57,456 - OBC NCL PwD : 3024 - SC : 31,920 - SC PwD : 1680 - ST : 15,960 - ST PwD : 840 JEE Advanced Important Dates - Online Registration Starts : 1st May, 2020 - Last Date of Registration : 6th May, 2020 - Available Admit Card : 12th May, 2020 - JEE Advanced Exam : 17th May, 2020 - Release Answer Key : 27th May, 2020 - Result Declaration : 8th June, 2020 - Starts JoSAA : 16th June, 2020 |

I am deaf and i have a b.sc computer science degree..can get admission in IIT for higher studies
