Every year approximately 1.6 lakh candidate take the VITEEE. Out of these 1.6 lakhs,only 3000 candidates are chosen to fill up seats in the 13 B.tech programmes,this includes 1000 seats of VIT,Chennai.

VIT MCA2012 Important dates:
application forms - first week of may 2012
last date of submission : last week of may 2012

Result declaration : mid june 2012
date of interview - last week of june 2012.

entrance exam pattern :
multiple choice objective type questions for four options

following subjects:
Mathematics
English
Computer Awareness
