how many times a person can apper in nda exam...please tell me how many times

NDA - National Defense Academy

This is the All India Entrance Examination which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year in the months of April and August as NDA 1 and NDA 2.


The Basic Eligibility Criteria which needs to be met by the applicants in order to apply for the NDA are :-


1. You should be an Unmarried Male Indian.

2. Your age should be well within 16.5 to 19 years.

3. You should be a minimum 12th pass from any recognized state board or school. No minimum percentage is required.

4. You must have studied Physics and Mathematics if you want to apply for the Air Force and Naval wings.

5. Also Physical and Mental fitness is a must for this.


Thus in reply to your query, I would say that there is no such thing as times that you can appear in the NDA exam.


As long as you meet the AGE REQUIREMENTS you can always apply. However it can be seen 3 times you can apply within that age.

So you can consider that you can apply 3 times consecutively in the NDA examination.


Also NDA 1 is for those who have just given their board exams and the NDA 2 is again conducted in August for those who missed to apply for the April one and after results they want to apply.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or Pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness.

So within 16.5 to 19 years one can appear NDA exam as many as times he can.

Dear Aspirant,

Yes you can appear for the NDA Exam.

If you are not above 19 years.

You should have a good eye sight.

You should be unmarried.

You can appear for the NDA exams 3 times in a row.

You can attend the NDA exams these many times as per the Reservation rules:

They are For OC : 4

OBC: 7

SC/ST : No Limit

Note: Atleast 12th Pass mandatory .

Sir, my son passed 12th science pcm (general category ,) and only 16 year old so you please tell me how many time he can appear to n d a exam upto the age of 19.

i had listen from my friends and all, that there are only two changes to give nda exam, if you fill the form 3rd times then it will be cancelled because they have the recorded data that you are appeared twice, overall means that you can fill form only 2 times under your age 16 to 19. is it true?. if it is true then if i filled the form and not gone to attend the exam then will the my change will counted or not?. plzz. sir help me.

Sir I am in class 11 and I i had fill the form of NDA but due to some reason i cannot give the exam can the attempt will be counted or not sir please suggest the answers
