hello,i have done my this yr Mcom in management i want to know regarding the net exams?i have missed the date for the dec2009 exams,how many times in a yr these exams are conducted?when shall the next exams be conducted? Thank you

NET exam is conducted twice in a year,basically in the month of june and december every year.

The next NET exam will be conduct in the month of june 2010,however,the exact dates for it wil be announced in march-april.

UGC conducts NET twice a year,
i.e., in the months of June and December.
The notifications announcing the June and December examinations are published in the months of March and September respectively in the weekly journal of nation-wide circulation, viz, Employment News.

The procedure for applying for UGC-NET is described in detail in the notification for the relevant examination.
The notification is published in the Employment News generally in the months of March and September and is also uploaded on the UGC website:

www.ugc.ac.in

NET can be applied two times in a year so you can apply for this in june if not done so....

its very sad that you have misses the date,
net form is published twice in a year.so be care full this time.it publish in june and december.

NET basically happen twice a year.One in June and another in December.
Net examination consists of two papers.if you score minimum qualifying marks in first paper then second paper will bw evaluated.

every year two NET exam will be announced.

one is month of july another is in september.

Eligibility :

Must have got at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities recognised by UGC in Humanities and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science

A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories and to women applicants.

So if you want to apply NET exam then apply in june month of this year.
