As per your question, it seems that your are interested in the Civil Service Exam, conducted by Union Public Service Commission. Now, in order to write this exam, being a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university is enough. Since you have done MBA, you are very much eligible for the civil service exam.
Apart from holding a bachelors degree, you also need to be within 21-30 years of age. The maximum age limit, is however, relaxed for candidates belonging to Sc/St and OBC category.
The civil service examination is written mostly by aspirants of Indian Administrative Services, Indian Police Services as well as Indian Foreign Services.
As you know that the examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission, you need to visit its official website for further information and also to know about other examinations conducted by the commission.

The maximum number of attempts permitted for general candidates is 4,for OBC its 7 and for SC/ST..there is no limit..

General Exam Pattern :-

1) Prelims :- This round has 2 objective papers which will test your aptitude, general knowledge and current affairs..

2) Mains :- After clearing the first stage..you shall qualify for the Mains where you will face nine papers..where your knowledge of your graduation subjects shall be tested..

After you clear both the stages ..you will be called up for the interview..
