I had done MA English in 2005 and want to pursue with correspondence course in M Phil English. I had applied for MPhil Distant education course in 2007 from Algappa University but could not finish it due to personal reasons. Can i pursue with it now. Is it valuable for teaching job in school.

Hello,
It is nice that you are thinking of going for M.Phil. Let me tell you that M.Phil. is an equivalent degree as that of Ph.D. and with this degree you can opt for the same positions as you could by doing M.Phil. You need to have a master degree for applying for this degree. This course is of two years and what better institute could be than IGNOU for this. Just log onto www.ignou.ac.in to apply. You may call in the IGNOU office at (033) 2281 0964 in Kolkata to get notifications on the upcoming forms.

Sir, I have completed MA HINDI through shridhar university, rajasthan in 2010-2012. Now I have interest to take admission in M.Phil(Hindi). What is the better open university.

Dear students,
If you want to persue M.Phil ,you must have Master degree in Hindi .The minimum percentage required for general candidates is 55% in master degree and there is some relaxation for reserved categories ( S.C,S.T,O.B.C,and physically handicapped )
The duration of this course is two years .
