hi, i am student of b.com final year. My question how many percentage require to give the ips entrance exam

For IPS, one has to go through a civil services examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.

As you requested, you are not required to get a certain percentage of marks in your B.Com in order to be eligible for IPS Exam.

A pass in any of the Graduation stream is enough to be eligible for IPS Exam.

But one should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for the Exam.

Relaxation is there in upper age limit for the candidates of OBC and SC/ST.

So, I suggest you to complete your graduation first with good percentage of marks which will let you to be eligible for IPS Exam.

If time permits, take coaching for IPS Exam so that it will be easy for you to crack the exam.

Hello friend,
Being a graduate is enough to be eligible for Indian Police Service, no matter how much you scored in the final year examination.
As you know that to join Indian Police Service, you will have to qualify civil service examination which is conducted by union public service commission every year.
Apart from being a graduate, you must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be over 30 years.
For SC/ST, the maximum age limit is 35 years.
For OBC's, the maximum age limit is 33 years.

The civil service examination comprise of three stages including two written examination and an interview.

Friend You do not require any short of percentage in your B.Com , there is no such cutoff as the eligiblity criteria .

Any Graduate student can sit in IPS Exam,
You have to been through a civil services examination
however there is a age limit ,between 21 to 30.


First you complete Graduation , within that time you may have some prepairation for IPS Exam also , both are in parallel.

IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.

Those candiadte have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.

But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate.

In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candiadte is 3years and for SC/ST candiadte is 5 years.

Also you must be citizen of india.

There is no criteria for MARKS , just you must be completed graduation degree.

i have given many trials to complete my graduation now i m in last year of graduation. can i eligible to become an ips officer ?

Percentage is not required for IPS exam. Only a graduate degree is the only educational criteria.

Though take a look at the eligibility criteria for IPS in details:

Educational qualification:
You should have completed your graduation in any discipline from any recognized university.

Age limit:
Should have crossed 21 years. But should not have crossed 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs .

Physical Standard:
Height – Male 165 cm

Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9

Blood pressure (High) – Age 23 – 123,
age 24 – 124,
age 25 –122,
age 28 – 124,
age 30 –125,
age 32 – 126,
age 34 – 127.

Others:
Good listening & normal ear cavity. Candidate should not stammer while speaking.

It is to inform you that there is no restriction on percentage of Marks for IPS{Indian Police Service}.

The UPSC is a Union Public Service Commission.
Requirements for exam :

Age: 21-30 years at thirty years at the time of examination day.
Education: Completion of any degree you can take the total university profess at that time.
Exam: There is a Preliminary and Main exams are present.
Preliminary: Hear 2 papers can attempt minimum of 450 marks. Paper is set in Hindi and English.
Main:Hear 4 papers for the examination.
Citizenship: citizen of India.
Application Fee: It is 50/-.
Concessions and relaxation:
age limit is excused by as Ex- servicemen and commissioned officers families.

The list of Eligibility conditions are:
1.A pass in a degree from any university.
2.A citizen of india.
3.Age limit: completed 21 years.For SC category, the age limit is 35.
4.An SC category can attempt the exam many a time.
