P.O.-Probationary Officer, fr this post in bank SBI and Other banks conducts examination for recruitment of P.O. according to the bank's requirement.
IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Service) conducts P.O. exam for 19 public sector banks from time to time as per requirement. The candidate should be an Indian Citizen having completed Graduation Degree in any stream with at least 60% marks within the age of 21 to 30 years is eligible to apply for bank P.O. exam. There is upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC up to 3 years. The selection is through written test followed by personal interview. PO stands for Probationary Officer. Bank PO jobs are in hot demand these days. The number of candidates who are trying for these jobs are going on increasing.
The selection procedure for Bank PO position is by -Written Exam -Interview. The written exam consists of questions from the following categories -Reasoning -Quantitative Aptitude -General Awareness -General English -Computer knowledge In addition, one should have to attempt for objective test. The duration of which is 30 minutes. One should have to score minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through the written test. Negative marking is there for wrong answers. It will be 1/4th in the sense for every 4 wrong answers that a candidate attempt. one mark from the actual marks he scored will be deducted. Candidates who have qualified in the written exam will be invited to the Interview in the ration of 1:3. Here is the required eligibility criteria to appear for Bank PO Exams. Academic Qualification : -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. -Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation can also apear for Bank PO Exams but they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they apear for Interview. Age criteria : -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for Bank PO Exams. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category. Bank PO Eligibility: Candidate should be citizen of India. You should pass the Graduation from any recognized university. Candidate should pass the Graduation with minimum 55% of marks. Both male & female candidates are eligible. Candidate age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. The upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories. Exam Pattern: All the best............ |

Some banks asks 60% of marks in your graduation but some banks don't asks the percentage of marks. The candidate must be a citizen of india. The complete selection procedure will include IBPS PO Exam Interview The written exam consists of questions from the following categories Reasoning Numerical Ability General Awareness General English Computer Knowledge The eligibility that is required for the candidates to apply for these positions will be as follows Academic Qualification : Completion of Graduation with any of the stream with a minimum of 60% of marks. He should have completed a degree from any recognized university with a mere 60% or 55%(sc/st) to be eligible for the PO exam.
He should be an Indian Citizen and age should between 21-30 years and extends til 35 if he is sc/st caste. |
