hoow much should we score in iit mains to get into good nit college where we get good placements

IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology where as NIT stands for National Institute of Technology .Both the institutes are managed by central government and is popular all around the world due to their quality education in the engineering courses .

To get admission in the IIT and NIT at the very first you must have to be among the top 20 percentile students of your board of examination hence you to do well in your 12th board examination .

Then you must have to compete through the JEE Main examination for your eligibility in these colleges but for admission in the IIT you have to clear the stage second of JEE too that is JEE Advance .

The general cutoff for the JEE Mains examination for this year is 105 marks but in order to get top colleges with your desired stream having more scopes you have to score much beyond the cutoff marks that is around 180 marks to 200 marks out of 360 marks .

Also for the JEE Advance the previous year cutoff were around 120 marks to 125 marks so for the admission in the IIT you must score over 175 marks along with good percentage in your 12th board examination .
