Could u please tell me How much is the starting salary of SCRA?

Generally the employees of the Indian railways have been categorized into 4 Groups. Railway officers of the uppermost ranks belong to Group ‘A’.Officers of Group ‘A’ are recruited by the UPSC, SCRA, IRAS and the IRTS etc.So according to that the starting salary of a Special Class Railway Apprentice which comes under Group A is around a salary range from Rs. 9300 - 34800 per month.And the pay scale of Non-technical
departments is around Rs. 15600–67000.

now,i doing the diploma course of software engineering from NIIT. After completing the course,i will get the job of atleast how much salary monthly.

Special Class Railway Apprentices' (SCRA) refers to a handful of candidates that are selected by the Union Public Service Commission India, after a rigorous selection process, to the undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jamalpur. This programme was started in 1927 and is one of the oldest in India.


Eligibility for scra:

Age Criteria: Minimum of 17 years & maximum 21 years of age till date of advt

Minimum Educational Qualification:
Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
or
Higher Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10 plus 2 pattern of School Education with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.

When you are conducted the interview after completion of exam..
Why because after the two months of exam we got the public exams in feb last week so
We are does not able to attend the interview.
