How much time does it generally takes to complete the PhD course?

Hi, I have completed my Master's in Education (M.Ed). And, now I wanted to join PhD. So, how much time will it take to complete the PhD if I start just after M.Ed? And, how many years does it generally takes to complete PhD?

Ph.D. in Education generally takes around 2 years. While M.Ed. takes around 2 years.

As you have just completed M.Ed., so now Ph.D. in Education will take another 2 years.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
