How much time does it takes to complete CA if started immediately after MBA?

Hi, I have completed MBA and now wish to do Chartered Accountancy (CA). So, how many years will it take to complete the CA if I start immediately after MBA? From which all papers and stages will I get exemption in CA on the basis of MBA?

After completing your MBA course you can apply for CA intermediate course.
Chartered accountant has three levels and these are Common Proficiency Test, Integrated Proficiency Competency Course and Final.

For registration in CPT it is held twice in a year in the month of June and December.
The registration fee of this course is rupees 6000.

After taking admission in IPCC course you will able to study for group 1 and 2 and after getting in exams you will be able to appear for CA final exam.

Approximately 3 years are are required to complete CA after MBA.

After completion of MBA, CA course duration is 3 to 3.5 hours if you cleared all exams in 1st attempt. After completion of graduation, you are exempted from CA CPT and can register directly for CA IPCC course.

Steps For CA Course After Graduation/Postgraduation
- Register for both groups of IPCC at least 9 months prior the examination.
- You must complete 100 hours of ITT (Information Technology Training) before doing articleship.
- Orientation Program of 35 hours is also mandatory.
- After passing exams of both groups of IPCC, Join 3 years of practical training and appear inter exam after 8 months of study course and 9 months of practical training.
- Undergo GMCS 1 course during first year of practical training.
- Undergo GMCS 2 course during last 18 months of practical training.
- Undergo advanced ITT course during last year of practical training but before appearing final exam.
- Join CA final course after passing both groups of IPCC.
- Appear and Qualify CA final exam during last 6 months of practical training.
- Get membership of ICAI.
