How is NEET examination conducted?


Hi, what is the pattern of NEET examination? Is it conducted online or offline? Is it paper based exam? If paper, then is it MCQ based exam? Please, clarify me on this.

NEET examination is conducted in offline mode. It is conducted by NTA.

Examination is MCQs based. There are total 180 questions with 4 options for each of the question.

There is also provision of negative marks for a wrong answer. No penalty for question not attempted.

NEET refers to National Eligibility cum Entrance test and till now it is being conducted by NTA once every year.

The examination is paper based (offline) MCQ based examination consisting of 180 questions of 04 marks each. Further, out of these 180 questions, 45 questions are from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology each.
