what should i do to clear IAS eaxm....??? how should i start preparing for it??? wanted to know everything about IAS eaxm means its books for it,exam pattern, how to get through it nd all.... i am engineering student of final year from meachanical trade??
plz help it get more and more knowlegde about IAS.

To clear this exam is important that you follow a thorough and systematic approach. The exam has two parts. You need to first prepare for the aptitude oriented test. For these you can refer to books by R.S Agarwal, Wren and Martin etc. If you clear this exam you need to appear the second part i.e. the mains exam. You can select any of the subjects mentioned in the UPSC site. You will find all the relevant information in the UPSC site.

How many vacancies have been find out each year approximately. Can we do any kind of graduation to give this examination

I have no any external sources for study, because i m in job...,my english is not so strong for prepration in english medium. Plz sugest me some hindi books for public admin...and geography and philosophy..plz

If you want to improve your English then try to read a lot of magazines a day and daily English newspapers like times of India, the telegraph etc. try to speak in English and Hindi to every one. it will surely help you.for your need am saying just take it seriously ok
