PSU stands for the Public Sector Undertakings. There are so many public sector undertakings like NTPC, BHEL, SAIL, GAIL, AAI, ISRO, ONGC etc which take electronics engineers.

In recent years, GATE that is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering has become the criteria for getting selected or short listed for recruitment purposes.

Candidates who secure ranks in the order of top hundreds upto 500 ranks are called for group discussion and Personal Interview in different PSUs. Second advantages of GATE exam is that it gives you chance to pursue master's degree in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology.
