IAS ie Indian Administrative Services.The exam is conducted by Upsc every year.The exam is held in following phases:
1.Prelims
2.Mains
3.Personal Interview.
The folowing are the tips considerd for its preparation :
1.Read some good newspaper and competitive magazine daily to be prepared for general awareness..
2.Listen to news daily.
3.Prepare your aptitude with RS aggarwal..
4.Practise some good english grammar books to get ready for english part.
5.Study history,science,geography books of cbse from class 6th till 10th.
6.There are two optinal subjcts in mains which are to chosen by candidate from his graduation..

The following is eligiablity criteria for the exam:

1.One hold graduation degree in any stream from recognized university.
2.The age limits are:

* for general category 21-30 yrs
* for OBC category 21-33 yrs
* for SC/ST category 21-35 yrs..

The exam is conducted by Upsc every year.The exam is held in following phases:
1.Prelims
2.Mains
3.Personal Interview.
