Do i have to appear for CET exam in order to become a pilot...??
Please give me answer in yes or no only...

After (10+2) in science stream or graduation, You can apply for pilot training institutions. DGCA conducts entrance exam IGRAU for the admissions to top pilot training institutions. You can also become a pilot through Air Force exams after (10+2) or graduation.

Through Pilot Training Courses

SPL (Student Pilot Licence) : 6 Months Duration
It is basic step to start career as a pilot.

PPL (Private Pilot Licence) : 1 Year Duration
It can be obtained after 60 hours flying.

CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence) : 3 Years
It can be obtained after 190 hours of flying.


Through IAF (Indian Air Force) Exams

NDA After (10+2)
You can apply for NDA after completion of (10+2) in science stream with mathematics and physics as a main subjects. After qualifying NDA, You have to undergo through 3 years training by flying training at Air Force Training Establishments.
