No you are not eligible to apply for the Indian Amry after the 10th class. You have to at least pass 10+2 if you want to join Indian Army. You can join Indian Army as an officer after the 10+2 through National defence academy examination. This examination is conducted by the Union Public service commission twice in a year. This exam is conducted for the selection of candidate as an officer in Indian Air force, Army and Navy. The eligibility required for the NDA examination is given below:

Education Qualification
For the National defence academy examination a candidate should be 10+2 pass. Those appeared in the 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply for the NDA examination.
Candidates applying for the Indian Air force and Navy should have physics and Maths at 10+2.

Age Limit
Candidates applying for the NDA examination should have age between 16.5 to 19 years.

After passing 10th you can join Indian Army as a soldier but after passing 12th you can join the same as an Officer through appearing NDA entrance exam.

NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

So as you are interested for NDA then first you have complete 12th to apply for the same.

After complete the graduation you can also join the indian army from the CDS exam.

Hey, its really a great idea to join Indian army, yes you can join Indian army with just Class 10 qualification but you have to be atleast 18 years old, as a para-military force or BSF. If you desire for high officials then you should opt for NDA or IMA, where you have to be from science stream, then there are many short-term services in Indian army, where after joining you can make it a permanent afterwards. Every year vacancies are available in Indian army, Indian air force and Indian Marines. Just keep an eye over the newspapers they generally post over their only, or else you can visit the respective side of www.nda.nic.in, www.upsc.gov.in, careerairforce.nic.in, www.imu.tn.nic.in and joinindianarmy.nic.in.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to join in INDIAN ARMY because minimum qualification required for this exam is 12th standard from a recognized university.

If you want to join in INDIAN ARMY you need to write the NDA exam this exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.

Age limit is 16 1/2-19 years
If you want to join as a soldier you have to attend the recruitment rally
This will be notified in the newspaper
If you want to join as an officer you can apply for NDA exam
Vacancies will be notified in the newspaper
So I suggest you to complete your 12 th exam and decide which on to join

You can't join Indian Army after passing 10th. There are some Eligibility criteria.

You have to write National Defence Academy(NDA)Exam.

Eligibility Criteria to write NDA:

You should be a citizen of India.

Age: 16.5 to 19years.

Sex- Only unmarried male candidates

Educational Qualification:

For Indian Army : 12th pass.
For Indian Navy or Indian Air-force : 12th pass with Maths and Physics subjects.

So after finishing 12th you can write NDA exam and join the Indian Army.
