Re: How should I prepare for CPMT?
First thing I would like to let you know that CPMTs/State PMTs have been replaced by NEET from 2016 and hence for admission in any medical college across India for pursuing MBBS/BDS course you need to qualify NEET.
Further for appearing in NEET you need to have completed your Class 12th with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology ) group with at least 50% marks from a recognized board. So having dropped Biology from your Class 12th you are not eligible for appearing in CPMT unless you complete your Class 12th with Biology as main subject. For the preparation point of view you must start and stick with NCERT textbooks of Class 11th and Class 12th of PCB group as the majority of questions are from these. For help you can refer to book by ABC Publication ( Modern Physics ) for Physics, O P Tondon and R C Mukherjee for Chemistry and Pradeep Publication for Biology. Further for practicing examination based question paper you can go for objective problems book by MTG publication. |
