1. Read your text book detailed and several times. As it is the main syllabus for any entrance-exam. So do not neglect it.

2. Write more after reading any chapter, practice the questions & problems.

3. Practice previous years questions paper, so that you can understand the question format.

4. Make a time table, for which subject how long you read.

First thing that i want to tell you is that you have to word with dedication if you want to prepare CPMT without coaching classes,but don't worry it is quite easy once you started.
