i am in b-tech 2nd year. i want to join indian army.what type of preparetion should i do.please reccommend me book &other things that i should do for join this.what is the procedure of exam of indian army.

my dear friend, you have to give some exams to join indian army, it is conducted by government of india......and you have medically fit also, to join army.

you need not prepare for army separately if you want to get in the army in technical field,but if you want the job of an army officer in field then you have to prepare for cds,for which you can take help of officers academy Hyderabad,they are an very good institute run by ex army men

you see news paper regularly...
and first you complete your engineering degree...there after you
apply for indian army...
normally in march you gate date notification......
prepare english and basic maths...

it is better to do your B.Tech first then you should try for the indian army.
because for that you will have to sit for an exam conducted by the UPSC and you must have your undergraduate degree.
then only you can apply for that.

hey you should first concentrate on your studies. you can join india army after your graduation also by giving CDS exam........

first of all you should concentrate on the B.Tech courses.as part of the suggestion i would adivise you not to waste your degree by joining Indian army after doing B.Tech.but if you are willing then please refer to the emplyment news regularly.
and it is conducted by the government.

how to prepare for ues in indian army..

You need not prepare anything extra for getting in to army...You just have to be physically fit and You must learn to speak up your mind....Be focused and true to your self..And try improving your english and communication skillsss...Try to be smart..and remember FEAR must not be in your dictionary...

for getting into Indian Army you have to appear in UES , EKT,CDS exams. these type of exams are generally conducted by UPSC..

you have to clear these type of exam first.. for that you have to study well,

try clear your basic concept.. after clearing the exam they will call you for interview, technical test,medical test.. after clearing all the test, you can join in Indian army..

you r join gd class and improve your communication n u will selected successfully.

you can join in indian army .

you can get chance in air force in two ways

1.through UES. which exam you can appear in the final year of your btech.

2.through UPSC exam. this exam you can appear after your graduation course.

Engineering graduate can join the Indian Military Academy directly. So, you only need to attend the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.

Eligibility Criteria :-

Age Limit :- Between 20-27 years at the time of joining.

Educational :- Must be of final year or pre final year engineering student.

The course starts every year in the month of January and July.

Advertisement of the application form published in March/April & Oct./Nov in employment newspaper.

to prepare for indian army first prepare your mind. focus on the indian army. try to collect all the information about indian army. fixed your goal to join indian army.

In third year you can join IndiAN Army through UES(University Entry Sheme) i.e. U can try for Indian Army IN your Pre-final year of B.Tech.There are several other way also to join Indian Army-
1.UES(age limit 19-24 year)
2.Direct Entry Scheme(19-27year)
3.CDS(Combined Defence Services)(age limit upto 24 year)
Work on Ur communication skills.Daily watch news and read current topics.Do hard work on Math and English(grammer).
Be Physically and Mentally fit.

In order to join Indian army you need to give some exam like UPSC or CDS.Eligibility criteria for CDS are listed below:

For joining through CDS in ARMY:minimum qualification is bachelor degree with at least 60%.For NAVY:minimum qualification is B.sc (physics & maths) or B.tech/B.E.For AIR-FORCE:minimum qualification is Bachelor degree (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or B.tech/B.E.

friend if u want to join army then u have to sit for cds exam after completion of graduation hence start preparing apti,english,reasoning and gk from now onwards.pratyogita darpan and competition success review are good magazines to prepare from.

If you want to join Indian army, you can give NDA exam. But your age should not be more than 19 years. You should be physically fit.
Or you can first complete engg. and then get some technical job in army.

The possibilities of joining in Indian Army after B.tech are by writing the defence service exam like NDA,CDS.They provide options of joining in Indian Army.

There are certain eligibility criteria's framed which has to be satisfied before applying for the exams.

If you are interested in writing the NDA or CDS exam you must strictly be a unmarried male candidate.

You must have a citizenship in India.

Indian Army:

Age limit for NDA:

Candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

Age limit for CDS:

Candidate must have a age limit of 19-24 years.

Education Qualification for NDA:

Candidate must have passed +2 from a recognized board with a fair percentage.

Education Qualification for CDS:

Candidate must have passed his graduation from a recognized university.
