i want to prepare for NET EXAM JUNE 2013,can anyone tell me good coaching centres that are there in kolakat.who conduct regular mock test and a discussion on the answer,,and are not high on price.i want the name number and adress of the centres and the package price only in kolkata area.kindly help and tell me as soon as possible

NET i.e. National Entrance test is conducted by UGC for admission in PhD courses and research jobs in university.To write this exam you need to have completed your post graduation with at least 55% marks.Also your age should not be more than 28 years.
This exam is conducted twice in a year i.e. in the month of June and December.

Questions in this exam will be asked from following three areas:
1st paper:

• General awareness
• Reasoning ability
• Comprehension
• Divegent Thinking.

2nd paper:
questions related to your subject which will consist of 50 objective type questions.
3rd paper:
It will consist of long descriptive questions related to selected subjects.

Dear friend,

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC). This exam is conducted to check the eligibility of candidates for Lectureship or Junior Research Fellowship or for both in both Indian universities and colleges. This exam is conducted in around 78 subjects.

Eligibility Criteria:-

1)- You should have completed your post Graduation course in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc.

2)- You should have minimum 55% marks in post graduation course.

3)- For SC/ST candidates there is 5% marks relaxation.

4)- Your age should not be more than 28 years for Junior Research Fellowship.

5)- There is no upper age limit for lectureship.

Examination Fees:-

General Candidates Rs.450/-
Other Backward Classes Rs.225/-
SC/ST/PH/VH candidates Rs.110/-
