Sir, i am in my final year of bams and i want to take up kas. Please suggest me the subjects to be taken,study pattern and the syllabus for the exam.

Karnataka Administrative Services Examination is conducted by KPSC for group I, II and civil service posts. There are three stages of this examination-1. Preliminary 2. Mains and 3. Personality test. After screening through preliminary 20 times students of avialable vacancy is permitted to write mains examination.
Pattern of KAS

• Preliminary exam consists of two paper. First paper is General studies and second paper is one optional subject of your choice.
• Both paper will carry 150 marks. Duration for each paper is 2 hours. You haue option to write your paper in Kannada or English.
• In the main examination, first two paper is of language category. Third and forth paper is of General Studies. Rest papers are of two subjects you opt for.

One forth students of main examination will be called for personality test where final selection will be done. To crack KAS, you have study all the subjects extensively. For the list of optional subjects and any other details regarding KAS refer to www.kpsc.kar.nic.in
