I am given to understand that under UGC guidelines there is no upper age limit for lecturership. But the maximum age limit for government teaching jobs in universities is 35 years.

My query is if i give the UGC Net exam after the age of 35, will i be eligible to teach in a university??? Where can i apply for a job for lecturer??

I AM APPALLED THAT NOBODY HAS BEEN ABLE TO ANSWER THAT IF THE MAX AGE IS 35 FOR LECTURER AND IF THERE IS MAX AGE LIMIT FOR UGC NET AND A PERSON IS ALREADY 35 CLEARS NET WILL HE BE ABLE TO JOIN LECTURERSHIP OR NOT ANSWER THIS CLEARLY ................
