Which IIT is best known or is famous for M.TECH in Computer Science because i am going to join M.Tech

If you want to do MTech from IIT then you have to crach GATE exam with good rank so you can get addmission their.As per your question each top 7 iit's are best for M-Tech courses but each iit specfied for their some branches.

Best IIT's for M-Tech for computer science subject is:

*IIT mumbai

*IIT kanpur

*IIT delhi

IIT DELHI is the best in the country for doing M.Tech
IIT KANPUR is also up there
You can select either one of the two
You need to score very high in GATE in order to gate a call from these premier institutes

there so many IITs in India , and every IITs have computer science department.

Every IITs computer science department is very well so we can’t distinguish those IITs.

But my point of view IIT kanpur is the best for computer science engineering.

Because of placement, faculty position and R&D field these are the key factor.

Is it possible to get into IITs for M tech CSE having done ECE in my B tech?? Assuming i have an excellent gate score can i switch from ECE to CSE into IITs??
