I got direct admission call from iit madras for m tech in transportation engineering. while iit bombay called me for one more round of interview. I am totally confused now. I want to join iit bombay but its risk. which iit should I chose? which one is better for transportation engineering, iit bombay or madras?

I think all IIT's are good.
We can not compare IIT because it give 101% placement guarantee and all students in IIT gets jobs with very high salary about their yearly package near about 8,00,000 to 10,00,000..
So IIT Madras and IIt bombay both are good if you get sit in any of one then go for that.

Iam rehana.. I completed B.Tech with 68%.. Now I want to join IIT for M.Tech course but i did'nt write any entrance xam.. Is there any chance to write entrance xam??? what should i do??? please give suggetion???

rehana you have to appear in GATE 2012 for getting admission in IIT

I came to know that IIT-B has excellent placement record for Mtech Transportation Engineering.If i have to choose between Mtech Tansportation/geotech from IIT-B and Mtech Structures from NIT Trichy/calicut what should be the better option(my interest being in structural engineering).

i am a student of class 12th science stream. i want to know how i can get admission in UG course for transportation design in any of the IIT's.

I hv done my btech in CE with 8.5 cgpa, I hv placement in core company of 5.2 laks ,my gate score is673 and rank is 891, my aim is to crack IES, so what should I do now, job or mtech or 1yr drop to prepare for ies...??

This happens offen while taking admission for M.tech so according to me you take admission in IIT Madras then go for interview in IIT Bombay and if you get selected then take refund your fee of IIT Madras they will refund the money after some deduction that is the only possible way.
