Every year UPSC conducts N.D.A. & N.A. examination twice. The N.D.A. & N.A.(I)-2011 is already conducted. The N.D.A. & N.A.(II)-2011 is to be conducted in the month of August this year. The schedule for N.D.A. & N.A.(II)-2011 as declared by UPSC is as given below. N.D.A. & N.A. EXAM.(II), 2011 Date of Notification/Advertisement Apr 09, 2011 Last date for the receipt of application May 09, 2011 Date of examination August 21, 2011 The eligibility criteria is Education: 10+2 with PCM for Air Force and Naval Academy. Age: 16-19.5 years The notification for the exam is published in Employment News and all national dailies. |

To get into these jobs you have to clear lot of the PRELIMINARY stages like clearing NDA or CDSE, after that clearing SSB having personal interview and lost more. Yeah. You can enter into the indian air force through an exam called
NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA) exam. For NDA exam you are eligible because you need to get complete 12th std for that. Since your studying 12th your age must be only 17 or 18. For NDA exam your age limit must be 16.5 to 19. So your eligible for NDA exam when age is concerned and also when education qualification is concerned. |

Joining Indian air force after intermediate(10 +2)
The Basic Process Candidates, short-listed for Air Force after the initial selection procedure, go through a rigorous three-year training regimen at the National Defence Academy, followed by specialised training at the Air Force Academy. Thereafter, they are commissioned as officers and posted as pilots at any of the Air Force Stations. To be in the National Defence Academy You can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The three branches of the Air force are
The officer cadre provides opportunities for men with 10+2 / Intermediate (only in the Flying branch), graduates (all three branches), engineers (all three branches) and postgraduates (all branches except the Flying branch) in the various positions. Women with graduate (all three branches), engineering (all three branches) and post graduate degrees (all branches except the Flying branch) have openings as an Officer in the Air force. You can join NDA for joining AIRFORCE.. by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which is conducted twice a year.... Qualifications: You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Age : 16 ½ to 19 years This is applicable only to men. |

In order to join in the flying branch of Air force, one should have completed his graduation.
Here i am providing the various modes through which one can make his entry into the flying branch of Airforce. 1) Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) Eligibility : -Unmarried male -Belong to age group of 19-23 years -Should of Indian -Should have completed his graduation from a recognized university (with Physics, Mathematics, at 10+2) -Final year students can also apply 2)National Cadet Corps Special Entry (Through CO NCC Unit / DG NCC) As a air Wing Senior division 'C' certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps, you can apply to flying branch. Remaining eligibility criteria would be the same as the above mode of entry. |

To became Pilot in IAF after 12th, you can appear in NDA entrance exam . As Its eligibility criteria states that- Candidates who are going to appear for the class 12 or its equal exam are also suitable to submit an application for this exam. Candidates who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried males. They must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam. Absolutely you can join Indian Air Force by appearing in National Defence Academy ( NDA ) Examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year in the month of April and August.
Minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for this examination is to be 10+2 passout with any of the stream. But for Navy or Air Force wing candidate must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 standard. 10+2 appearing students can also apply for the examination. |

Yes you can join INDIAN AIR FORCE by giving NDA exam conducted twice each year by UPSC. YOU NEED TO BE 12th pass to give NDA exam. age : 16 1/2 - 19 years after qualifying in the written exam you will be called for the practical exam in which you have to go through: GROUP DISCUSSION, WRITTEN EXAM, After you qualify these two in the first day then you will be stayed there for 5 more days for your physical test, medical test, and personal interview. First of all the initial post designated in Indian Airforce officer cadre is flying officer not flight lieutant.
After 10+2 you can join Indian Airforce flying branch through NDA examination the Exam is conducted by upsc twice in an year as NDA-I and NDA-II Eligibility Criteria for NDA is: 1.
