tell me about IFS detail of upsc exam.how i can apply in 2011?what is IFS?and i did msc in microbiology in 2006 batch can i apply for this exam?if i can then where i can take the application form?can female give this exam?

the tentative dates of the ifs exam are
date of notification: 12-3-2011
last date for receipt of application:11-4-2011
date of commencement of exam:9-7-2011
the exam will be held for an duration of 10 days
you will know all the information once the notification is out,which will come in the employment news on the date stated or in the website www.upsc.gov.in

Date of Notification: 19.02.2011
Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 21.03.2011
Date of Exam: 12.06.2011

Eligibility conditions:
Age limits: Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st August, 2011
The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the notice
Educational qualifications: Degree of a recognized university or an equivalent qualification
Physical standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the regulations given in the appendix-III of rules for the civil services examination, 2011 published in the gazette of India extraordinary dated 19th February, 2011
Number of attempts: The maximum number of attempts permissible to different categories of aspirants, who are otherwise eligible, will be as follows
General category (04); P.H. candidates belonging to general category (07); OBC (07); SC/ST/ (no limit)

i had already applied for IAS EXAM.So can i ELIGIBLE to apply for IFS.If so the application form used to apply IAS ,CAN I get the same form from post office to apply IAS.

it is conducted by UPSC delhi.

the eligibility criteria for this is

-> you should have a degree from a recognized indian university.

-> you should have a min age of 21 years and should not exceed 30 years..

Educational qualification:

The candidate must hold a Bachelors degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities.

i am very anxious to know about eligibility of mbbs graduates for IFS exam.in this comment you have mentioned that mbbs is eligible for exam .I have asked few institutes about the same but they didnt gave clear explanation.So could you help me this regard by somehow
