To appear in the jnu post graduation(ma eng)entrance exam-
1. you should get at least 60% in your graduation.
2. No age limit
3. No 45% scorer(gen) didn't get any chance.
4. you need to be prepare from the various competitive books for general ques & for your syllabus ques prepare well from the graduate level books.
5. The syllabus is all of your graduate level & to clear the entrance exam easily just do practice from the previous year papers.
6. For the preparation of unseen passage first do the solved one to know your faults & then only go for an unsolved one.
7. The entrance exam will be held at different test centres.You can choose the one which is nearer to you.

You only need 45% in your course, and the questions are graduation level, and of general knowledge, and sure of reasoning. The Centre offers an M.A. programme in English, and
integrated, interdisciplinary programmes of research (M.Phil/Ph.D.). The yearly entrance examination for the M.A. English at JNU is one of the most sought after literature courses in India.

Candidates are selected on the basis of a written examination that tests them on English literature, English language, Literatures in India as well as in third world countries and related cultural issues. The primary focus of the examiners is to test the analytical acumen, critical skills, independence, logical thinking and literary merit of the candidates.

The MA English entrance exam paper usually consists of ten questions with a candidate required to do any three or four. Consequently, no special set of books are required for this examination, especially for those with a BA in English Literature.a candidate needs to work on his synopsis that will be scrutinized by the panel if one clears the writtenexam.

For taking admission in Jawahar Lal Nehru University for Post Graduation degree course in Arts you will require to meet these eligibility conditions :

Educational qualification :

• Candidates minimum educational qualification should be Graduation pass out/final year appearing from recognized university.
• Candidates should have Honors paper of Arts stream in Graduation degree level.

Marks :

• Candidates who belong from the General/OBC category should have a minimum of 55% marks in Graduation level.
• Candidates who belong from the SC/ST category should have a minimum of 50% marks in Graduation level.

Exam Pattern for JNU MA Entrance exam :

• Total number of questions will be 100.
• Each questions will be of 1 marks.
• Total duration for this entrance test will be 2 hours.
• All questions will be objective type.
